The Big News...

You Can Call Us the Allens!
Dearly Beloved,
October 3rd in California, and June 26th in Seattle, are still our Big Day(s)!
And,
we've...
In the company of our two sweet girls, with two dear friends as witnesses, and our beloved officiant, Anodea, we were legally and spiritually joined in holy matrimony on August 12th, at around 10:42 AM. Out of the desire to have a day of ease and a ceremony that was ours alone to cherish, savor, and relax into, we chose to make our vows for the first time in a private, quiet, sweet, and short ceremony on a private shore at China Camp, outside San Rafael.

This choice was also made to honor our families in California, and in Seattle in an equitable way; one ceremony for us, one for California, and one for Washington. We look forward to sharing glorious, beautiful, and sacred ceremonies of reaffirmation on October 3rd in California, and June 26th in Seattle with our close friends and family.

Please come back to this page soon to see some wonderful pix of our private ceremony by our talented, amazing photographer, and most dear friend, and witness to our vows, Sarah Baldik.

And, if we're lucky, maybe even a video of the sweet event, including the amazing singing of our other dear friend and witness, Cyrise Beatty, singing The Song of Songs.

Thank you for your wonderful and wondrous support of our joyous union. We look forward to celebrating it with you, again and again, and to sharing the glow of our love as it burns ever more brightly in our lives.

With thanks to god in all Its guises, and our beloved family, friends, and sangha, we look forward to a long, shared lifetime, that is a continual celebration of our connubial bliss! If you'd like to see our registry, go here!

With love and gratitude beyond measure,
